In certain roads it only takes one successful planning application, and before you know it the neighbouring properties are falling down like dominoes. Pampisford Road in leafy South Croydon is such a street. Five years ago the majority of residents lived in substantial detached houses with arguably oversized gardens. Now, the typical Pampisford Road resident owns a smart two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, and is safe in the knowledge that the obligatory new car is secure in the gated car park to the rear. Understandably, this lifestyle remains popular, and our recent sale of 216 Pampisford Road to Croft Homes became our eighth in the street in recent years. We introduced Croft to regular clients South East Living, who successfully won planning appeals for both a block at the front of the site, and accommodation above the parking at the rear.
