Lots which offer the opportunity to improve upon an existing income stream always create high levels of interest. Spur House in Wimbledon was no exception. An existing block of 9 apartments plus a floor of B1 space and a substantial car parking area with development potential gave a multitude of ‘angles’ for a purchaser to improve the investment value. We were instructed as joint sole agents with the Estate Office, and following an open market campaign, investment company Urban Life won the tender. A thorough programme of refurbishment and development is about to get underway.
