Bexley DA6

Caterham based clients, Ruskin Homes, are expanding rapidly, and simultaneously building a reputation as an efficient developer of high quality homes. As a result of their expansion, and on-going commitment to acquire land outsider of the restriction of a rigorous purchase criteria, we have recently managed the sale of two consented sites that proved surplus to Ruskin’s requirements at the time. The first, a site in Ravenscroft Road, Beckenham, had suffered two planning refusals at the hands of Bromley’s planning committee, despite receiving officer recommendation. The inevitable appeals followed, and permission was granted for the demolition of two semi-detached houses and construction of a block of nine apartments. Local developers, Hilleard Developments, expressed interest at an early stage and have recently completed their purchase. A similar site in Wansunt Road in Bexley suffered a similar fate, falling victim to a planning refusal at local level. Permission was granted at appeal, again for the construction of nine units. On this occasion Chapelwood Homes proved most competitive, with completion imminent.
