Lewisham SE13

Originally the site of Brooklyn’s Tea Warehouse, and currently a Rolls Royce and Bentley sales and service centre, we have concluded a sale in Whitburn Road, central Lewisham, to the UK’s largest builders of retirement flats, McCarthy & Stone. The site becomes the developers fourth in the immediate area, following the construction of Paxton Court in Grove Park, and acquisition of other sites in Bromley and Catford town centres. The owner had secured a residential planning permission before committing to sell, and now plans to re-locate Ghost Motors closer to his home in the Weald.  McCarthy & Stone expect to commence construction of more than 30 units at Whitburn road, simultaneously to their 72 flat scheme on the site of the former Furnitureland showroom in Sangley Road, SE6.
